Sr. Channel Manager- Traditional Hardware   WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME, EXPERIENCED AND SELF-MOTIVATED SR. CHANNEL MANAGER, TRADITIONAL HARDWARE TO JOIN OUR MARKETING TEAM TO LEAD HAMPTON’S STRATEGY, GROWTH, AND EXECUTION ACROSS THE TRADITIONAL HARDWARE CHANNEL. THIS ROLE OWNS DISTRIBUTOR AND COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIPS, DRIVES PROFITABLE SALES GROWTH, AND ENSURES HAMPTON’S BRANDS ARE POSITIONED EFFECTIVELY TO WIN IN INDEPENDENT RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS. For more information, please visit https://www.hamptonproducts.com/ [https://www.hamptonproducts.com/].                                  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   * DEVELOP AND EXECUTE THE CHANNEL STRATEGY FOR TRADITIONAL HARDWARE ACCOUNTS ALIGNED WITH HAMPTON’S PRODUCT  PORTFOLIO PRIORITIES  * IDENTIFY GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS BRANDS AND CATEGORIES  * LEAD ANNUAL PLANNING AND TRAINING DEVELOPMENT WITH DISTRIBUTORS AND BUYING GROUPS.  DEFINE, EXECUTE AND TRACK THE COMMERCIALIZATION PLAN FOR THE CHANNEL  * LEAD LINE REVIEWS, ASSORTMENT DISCUSSIONS, AND NEW ITEM INTRODUCTIONS  * BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH SALES, PRODUCT, GLOBAL SUPPLY, FINANCE AND OPERATIONS TEAMS  * COLLABORATE WITH THE PRODUCT TEAM TO DEVELOP AND EXECUTE STRATEGIES THAT ALIGN WITH THE BRAND’S POSITIONING AND RETAIL PARTNER OBJECTIVES * ANALYZE MARKET TRENDS, CUSTOMER INSIGHTS, AND COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCT LINE EXPANSION OR OPTIMIZATION * OWN SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION OF PRODUCT LAUNCHES, RESETS, PROMOTIONS, AND SEASONAL PROGRAMS  * COLLABORATE WITH CREATIVE TO DEVELOP CHANNEL-RELEVANT MERCHANDISING, CONTENT, AND PROMOTIONAL TOOLS  * ENSURE ACCURATE PRICING, ASSORTMENTS, AND ITEM SETUP ACROSS DISTRIBUTOR SYSTEMS    The successful candidate will have the following: * FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY PROGRAM CERTIFICATE IN MARKETING, BUSINESS, OR RELATED DISCIPLINE; AND NO LESS THAN 5 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE CHANNEL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE CONSUMER GOODS INDUSTRY; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.  * AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE HARDWARE INDUSTRY.   * Strong business acumen * SOLID PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE RELATED TO NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION AND A NEW PRODUCT INITIATIVE (NPI) MILESTONE PROCESS.  * OUTSTANDING INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO ORGANIZE AND LEAD CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO EXECUTE INITIATIVES FOR NEW PRODUCTS, PROGRAMS, TRADE, AND PROMOTIONAL EVENTS.     Don’t let this job get away. Many feel that Hampton Products is a special place to work, and our core values are the primary reasons for that feeling.
