About this Position Product development: focus on innovation for automotive components market, Surface treatment & cleaner applications, provide technical support to customers. Work well in the team environment and work collaboratively with cross functional teams. Understand automotive applications, market trends and customer needs. Ability to lead new product development projects independently. Self-starter with can do attitude What you´ll do Drive Innovation & Product development on surface treatment, cleaners for automotive market. Propose and develop technical solutions which are strategically aligned with market and customer needs. Support TCS and business team on solving technical problem and providing trouble shooting and technical Solution if required. Secures IP position in own area of development. Lead lab management, lab safety, 5s, housekeeping. Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality and AO teams. What makes you a good fit Ph.D. or MS in Chemistry, Materials Science, or other relevant technical fields are required 5+ years of Surface treatment development experience is preferred. Strong track record in new product development from concepts to commercial success. At least 5 years’ experience in product development for surface treatment, cleaners. Experience in multi-metal pre-treatment, phosphating, aluminum passivation are preferred. Experience in new product pilot and production scale-up is required. Good communication skills among cross functional teams. Fluent English both in written and oral.
