The Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager will support our well-established clients with a variety of complex, water and wastewater engineering projects in Ohio. If you’re an experienced Project Manager looking to apply your engineering and business development expertise towards solving highly unique challenges within Oklahoma and beyond, this is the role you’re looking for!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering required.
  • Professional engineering (PE) license required in Oklahoma (or able to obtain one within six (6) months of employment).
  • 5+ years of project management demonstrating the ability to develop client relationships, pursue and win a range of water and wastewater projects, and successfully manage projects to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • 8+ years of progressive engineering experience as the “Engineer of Record” for related water or wastewater projects. Ability to demonstrate expertise in leading the design for large, complex engineering projects.
  • Experience serving as a leader and mentor to younger engineering staff.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and develop effective working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work regularly in our Tulsa office. We do support flexible work arrangements and hybrid work schedules. Regular presence in our Tulsa office will be required based on business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our clients across Oklahoma. Lead business development efforts to plan and execute strategies for developing new or expanding existing opportunities with water and wastewater clients.
  • Be the primary Project Manager for large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects for water and wastewater treatment, pump stations, sewer replacement/rehabilitation, and water transmission and distribution main.
  • Become the go-to engineer for our clients, further deepening our relationships with several key local utilities that rely on us to solve their complex engineering challenges.
  • Establish yourself as a technical lead for engineering in our Tulsa office, serving as a mentor to early-career engineers, scientists, and other consultants.
