Description
About Flourish Health 1 in 25 adolescents and young adults will be diagnosed with a serious mental illness—and far too many families never receive the care they need. Barriers like long waitlists, limited access, and fragmented systems mean help often comes too late. At Flourish Health (flourish.health), we exist to change that. Our mission is simple: provide access to timely, high-quality mental health care. We specialize in serving patients and families navigating complex symptoms and systems, meeting them with compassion, clarity, and urgency. About the Role We’re hiring a master’s-level clinician to join our Growth team as a Sr. Clinical Admissions Specialist. This role sits at the front door of care and is critical to our ability to serve families quickly and well. You’ll conduct brief mental health assessments, complete required documentation and follow-up, and determine whether a family is most appropriately served by Flourish. Your work directly impacts access—helping families move forward instead of getting stuck. This role is ideal for clinicians who: Enjoy assessment, formulation, and clinical decision-making Are energized by helping families say “yes” to care when it’s appropriate Can balance clinical rigor with speed, empathy, and practicality Have experience working with underserved populations Are comfortable navigating non-clinical complexities and implementing motivational interviewing to overcome these challenges; including showing up to appointments, ambivalence towards treatment, and low engagement. What You’ll Do Complete brief mental health assessments and triage for adolescents, young adults, and families via telehealth Determine clinical fit, risk level, and appropriate next steps—within Flourish or through external referrals Complete timely, high-quality documentation and follow-up for each assessment Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, care advocates, and operations partners Use clinical judgment to meet families where they are—motivating engagement while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries Support with clinical administrative work as needed Who You Are You’re an experienced clinician who thrives in fast-moving environments and sees ambiguity as a problem to solve, not a barrier. You care deeply about access to care and are motivated by helping more families get connected without compromising clinical integrity. The right candidate (you!): Feels energized by assessment and triage, facilitating access to care, and care coordination Can work independently while staying closely aligned with a larger team Is flexible and open to change as workflows evolve Has patience and skill working with families who may be overwhelmed, skeptical, or hard to reach Takes pride in doing things thoroughly and efficiently Is eager to jump in and support the team where they’re needed Requirements Master’s degree in a clinical discipline with at least a provisional license (LMSW/LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCMHC, or equivalent) 8+ years of relevant patient experience or equivalent performance 2+ years of post-degree clinical experience Experience conducting brief assessments and/or triage, ideally in a remote or telehealth setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfort navigating changing workflows in a scaling organization Intrinsic motivation to connect patients and families with the right care as quickly as possible Schedule & Work Environment Job Type: Full-time position Work environment: Remote, home office environment Salary: $88,000-$92,000 Schedule: Standard hours are three days a week from 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm MST and two evenings a week 10:30am-7pm MST. Evening availability is required to best support the adolescents and families we serve. Benefits: 401(k) matching Home Office Stipend Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Why Flourish You’ll join a smart, deeply committed, and slightly quirky team that believes access to mental health care is a moral imperative—not a luxury. If you’re excited by the idea of using your clinical skills to reduce suffering at scale, while helping build something that doesn’t yet fully exist, we’d love to meet you. The Right Person The right person (you!) cares deeply about improving outcomes and quality of life for individuals with serious mental health conditions. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can lead staff through high-stakes situations, and are committed to creating safe, integrated, and high-quality care. Flourish encourages applicants from all backgrounds, including those with lived experience, people of color, LGBTQ-identifying individuals, veterans, and differently abled individuals.
