QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of healthcare recruitment experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subject.
  • Physician and/or clinician recruitment experience needed, experience within Psychiatry or Behavioral Health Space desired.
  • Proactiveness in candidate lead generation – experience developing and implementing overall recruitment and sourcing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of physician practice models and comp models in the industry.
  • Ability to handle and recruit in a multi-state region as needed.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sr. Clinical Recruiter (based in CA, AZ, or TX) will be responsible for the overall clinical recruitment activities of ones assigned region. As a member of the clinical recruiting team, one will ensure the execution of all clinical recruitment activities from candidate sourcing through contract negotiations are developed and followed to successfully hire clinical candidates.

Note – this position will first join the existing recruiting team in a hybrid capacity with focus in the following areas:

  • Sourcing – provides sourcing assistance with lead referrals to recruiters for open positions – affording the ability to learn recruiting process from beginning to end.
  • Back-up – once trained, any current recruiter who needs assistance with a current requisition load, one will step in and take on some open positions.
  • Event Help – if overlap in recruiting events, will step in and travel to represent organization with recruiting process knowledge.
  • Region TBD – once current recruiters reach capacity, will assume a region of their own.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with recruiting & operational leadership executing on hiring needs of an assigned region ensuring progress of candidates is communicated and documented utilizing the ATS regarding activity through both early stage and later stage candidate engagement.
  • Help develop recruiting plans per assigned region in collaboration with recruiting leadership.
  • Participate in development and implementation of lead generation and sourcing strategies.
  • Track and capture results of candidate activity via ATS helping to formulate current and future recruiting strategies and budget allocation of needed resources.
  • Report candidate activity regarding each open positions during bi-weekly state recruiting calls as well recruiter connect calls leveraging candidate pipeline report via ATS.
  • Coordinate and schedule initial candidate clinical engagement phone interviews with the clinical interview team via state interview calendars. Coordination of center visits only as requested.
  • Ensure candidates are provided timely updates regarding status of their clinical engagement interview, tech assessment, reference check and overall status in the hiring pipeline.
  • Serve as a resource to help promote the Training Outreach Program to residents and fellows during the recruiting process as appropriate.
  • Serve as a mentor to help train new recruiters if needed.
  • Assist with recruiting events and or special recruiting requests if needed.
