MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Required Experience:
  • 5 years’ experience working in clinical research environment
  • 1 years’ experience in an education and training role,
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience utilizing learning management systems to manage/deliver content.
  • Sufficient technical experience to interface with IT resources regarding on-line course delivery, tracking, reporting, and management requirements.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related discipline, or other related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: ACRP/SOCRA (or equivalent) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Training Specialist Sr serves as a senior-level contributor within the Clinical Research Office (CRO), providing expert-level guidance and coordination in the development and delivery of training programs. The position serves as a key resource and mentor to peers, supporting the advancement of clinical research education and operational excellence.
This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a comprehensive, high-impact training curriculum that ensures CRO staff are equipped to conduct clinical research in compliance with all applicable regulations and institutional standards. The incumbent collaborates closely with CRO leadership and subject matter experts to align training initiatives with strategic goals and evolving industry practices.
Additionally, the CR Training Specialist, Sr. remains current on emerging trends and technologies in clinical research and adult learning, integrating innovative approaches into educational content. The role also supports communication strategies to effectively disseminate training information across multiple platforms, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
