Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to join our CSU DevSquad, a team dedicated to strategic projects and innovative, high-quality solutions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, driving customer success and digital transformation through Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams, acting as the voice of the customer to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable architectures aligned with business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in software development and DevOps practices, business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders while fostering adoption and operational excellence. Responsibilities Customer Advocacy & Relationship Management – Act as the voice of the customer, build trusted relationships with technical and business leaders, including C-level executives. Solution Architecture & Delivery – Design and deliver secure, resilient, cost-optimized Microsoft cloud solutions aligned with business outcomes. Software Development & DevOps – Develop solutions using Agile methodologies, implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/GitHub, and apply security and testing best practices. Opportunity Identification & Growth – Drive adoption by identifying cross-solution opportunities and partnering with account teams to execute consumption plans. Risk & Blocker Management – Anticipate, escalate, and mitigate technical risks to ensure smooth deployments. Technical Leadership – Mentor peers, lead initiatives, contribute intellectual property, and represent Microsoft in technical communities and industry events. Partner & Market Insight – Collaborate with partners to shape offerings, leverage market trends and competitive intelligence to influence solutions and product roadmaps. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. 6+ years experience leading technical projects. Additional or preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience. 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external). Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
