The HT Group is proud to partner with a well-established community bank in Hutto, Texas, to find a Senior Commercial Loan Officer for an immediate Direct Hire. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned lender with experience across commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending. Key Responsibilities

  • Originate, underwrite, close, and service a portfolio of commercial and consumer loans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and service plans to grow and retain business.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and present loan requests to credit committees.
  • Monitor loan performance, conduct risk assessments, and manage delinquent accounts.
  • Review and approve consumer overdrafts and loan applications.
  • Identify new lending opportunities through referral networks and community outreach.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of bank policies, industry regulations, and lending products.
  • Support the bank’s relationship-based service model with outstanding customer care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in loan operations (funding, servicing, processing) in a community bank or credit union.
  • Formal credit training highly desirable.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect lending (e.g., auto loans), credit analysis, and loan structuring.
  • In-depth understanding of banking regulations, lending practices, and collection methods.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Work Environment

  • Onsite position in Hutto, Texas.
  • Requires travel between bank branches and customer locations as needed.
  • Must be comfortable working under pressure and making sound financial decisions.
  • Role includes extended periods of computer use and client interaction.
