Description:
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in either Business, Engineering, Management, Finance, or Economics or related field degree.
- Commercial contract negotiation and RFPs management experience for equipment supply in the energy sector.
- Proficient at aggregating and understanding and responding to requirements and information as part of the RFP process.
- Proven experience in partnering with internal and external stakeholders to optimize a response and the decision-making process.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and CRM such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Enthusiasm for working with Customers and suppliers.
- Strong “intrapreneurial” mindset for process analysis, problem solving and strategy development skills.
- Ability to take critical decisions in the face of limited or conflicting data and under time pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work intensively during negotiation periods.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and proven leadership skills in virtual project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex activities simultaneously.
- Dedicated to details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the RFP response and competitive bid processes for projects analyzing commercial and legal aspects of Customer RFPs to develop a competitive submission to continue to grow the execution pipeline.
- Lead the Customer and sub-contractor contract negotiation phase for equipment, services, and EPC contracts by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop key requirements for RFPs to sub-contractors and evaluate the bid results.
- Responsible for bid analysis and modeling to support the strategic procurement process.
- Work with supply chain to capture competitive intelligence and generate insights on supply chain and BESS landscape.
- Interacts with external parties including Customers, vendors, and potential suppliers.
- Actively identify opportunities to improve business processes and support the implementation of such.
- Ensure the organization’s internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained.
- Provide contract support to the Project’s team during contract execution.
