Description
Primary Purpose of the Job Formulate LNG annual delivery programme (ADP) scenarios for certain assigned QatarEnergy ventures for superintendent approval and proposal to LNG Buyers. Support line management in ADP negotiations with the relevant LNG Buyers by preparing all ADP correspondence; supporting analyses and other material. Maintain the ADPs, via 90-day schedules, for each of the LNG contracts as required in the LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements or Confirmation Notices to ensure contractual compliance and satisfy customer requirements. Maintain the LNG ADPs in the execution phase by daily monitoring of actual performance against plan, generating solution proposals for supervisor against anticipated deviations from plan and issuing the updated schedules to LNG Customers. Facilitate execution of the production and delivery plans by QatarEnergy LNG Operations and QatarEnergy LNG Shipping by preparing, reviewing and issuing the short-term detailed production, loading and delivery schedules. Coordinate daily LNG production and forecast with QatarEnergy LNG Asset Managers to ensure year end targets are met. Provide functional input into the development of implementation procedures, LNG sales and purchase agreements, confirmation notices. Required Experience and Skills Knowledge and/or Experience 8 years oil and gas operational or business development experience in a major facility comprising at least 3 years in supply chain/logistics functions. Experience of logistics of marine transportation of hydrocarbon products. Good awareness of commercial and contractual aspects of the oil and gas industry. Technical and Business Skills Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder, multi-cultural environment facing differing and changing constraints, often under significant time pressure. Good analytical skills including economic analysis; and verbal-reasoning skills. Good spreadsheet and modelling skills. Good English writing and presentation skills. Good working familiarity with standard software applications. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Economics.
