Overview:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of equivalent work experience in a risk management, insurance, governance, compliance, audit, finance, or project management role
  • Previous experience in compliance in the healthcare or financial services industries
  • Previous experience coordinating or managing cross-functions projects

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Solid understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (preferred)
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently & take initiative
  • Strong critical thinking & analytical skills
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems through research and sound judgment

Salary Range: $72000.00 To $91500.00 / year Benefits & Perks:

Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the company’s compliance framework, including policies, procedures, code of conduct, training programs, culture initiatives, risk assessments, monitoring, investigations, and reporting.
  • Conduct and support compliance monitoring, testing, and reviews to identify control gaps, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
  • Identify and investigate potential instances of noncompliance, including possible violations of laws and regulations, using complaints and other detection mechanisms.
  • Recommend and oversee the implementation of corrective or disciplinary measures as required.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to embed compliance into strategic initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, and third-party due diligence.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports for leadership and relevant regulatory or enforcement bodies
  • Maintain accurate and organized compliance logs, files, databases, and related records.
  • Provide updates and briefings to Compliance leadership on specific issues, program status, and emerging risks.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual compliance roadmap and strategic objectives.
  • Review assigned marketing materials to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and internal standards.
  • Support the design and delivery of company-wide and role-specific compliance training programs.
  • Support the Compliance team in maintaining logs, files, databases, and other records related to compliance.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the compliance program to ensure effective and efficient execution.
