Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas on a contract basis. This is a contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in financial accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that is 100% ONSITE in Fort Worth, TX.

Contract-to-Hire Construction Project Accountant:Responsibilities:

  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.
  • Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare and post journal entries while adhering to established accounting protocols.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create reports.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Provide support for audits and regulatory compliance reviews as needed.

100% ONSITE in Fort Worth, TX.

  • Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and general ledger accounting.
  • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
