Software Defined Networking Engineer– NSX Senior Consultant (m/f/d)
Do you have several years of experience as a network administrator (m/f/d) , do you know Vmware NSX solution and are looking for exciting challenges in an innovative, agile, and owner-managed company? Do you like designing effective network solutions and are also a pro at the CLI? …And last but not least, are you just as lazy as we are and automate recurring tasks wherever possible?
Together with our team of experienced cloud engineers, you will support our customers in planning, implementing, and operating complex Software Defined Networks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Gathering and analyzing customer requirements in the SDN environment in Vmware VCF enviroments
• Creating and coordinating concepts
• Conducting strategy workshops and providing consulting on architecture and design
• Developing implementation roadmaps based on strategic decisions
• Implementing designed solutions
• Help customers on operating their SDN environments
• High-end troubleshooting

What You Should Bring:

• +5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer in traditional IP networks
• Confident demeanor, analytical and conceptual skills, teamwork, and customer orientation
• NSX VMware design and implementation experience
• Strong interest in further developing expertise in SDN and transforming existing IT environments towards SDN with NSX solution
• Experience with IP networks and advanced knowledge of OSI Layer 2 to 4 technologies
• Fluent Spanish and English skills

Ideally, You Have:

• Experience in Software Defined Networking design
• Familiarity with PowerShell
• Familiarity with VMware products – VCF
• Ability to work according to ITIL recommendations
• Vmware certifications (VCP, VCAP)
• Proficiency in tools like Wireshark for network packet analysis

¿Tienes varios años de experiencia como administrador de redes (m/f/d), conoces la solución NSX de Vmware y buscas desafíos emocionantes en una empresa innovadora, ágil y de gestión independiente? ¿Te gusta trabajar con las últimas tecnologías de vanguardia? ¿Disfrutas diseñando soluciones de red efectivas y eres un experto en la CLI? …Y por último, pero no menos importante, ¿eres tan práctico como nosotros y automatizas tareas recurrentes siempre que sea posible?
Junto con nuestro equipo de ingenieros de nube experimentados, apoyarás a nuestros clientes en la planificación, implementación y operación de redes definidas por software complejas con soluciones de Vmware NSX.

Tus Responsabilidades:

• Recopilación y análisis de requisitos de clientes en el entorno SDN
• Creación y coordinación de conceptos
• Realización de talleres estratégicos y asesoramiento sobre arquitectura y diseño
• Desarrollo de hojas de ruta de implementación basadas en decisiones estratégicas
• Implementación de soluciones diseñadas
• Resolución de problemas avanzados

Lo Que Debes Aportar:

• +5 años de experiencia profesional como Ingeniero de Redes en entornos de redes IP tradicionales
• Actitud segura, habilidades analíticas y conceptuales, trabajo en equipo y orientación al cliente
• Experiencia en diseño e implementación de NSX
• Gran interés en desarrollar experiencia en SDN y transformar entornos de TI existentes hacia SDN con tecnología NSX de VMware
• Experiencia con redes IP y conocimientos avanzados de tecnologías OSI Capa 2 a 4
• Dominio del español y el inglés

Idealmente, También Tienes:

• Experiencia en Redes Definidas por Software
• Conocimientos en productos VMware en particular VCF
• Certificaciones Vmware (VCP, VCAP)
• Conocimientos en PowerShell
• Capacidad para trabajar según las recomendaciones de ITIL y metodologias Agiles
• Habilidad en el uso de herramientas para el análisis de paquetes de red
