Key Responsibilities: Lead Cost estimating processes in support of manufacturing projects in support of sales to the Department of War or other defense companies. The cost estimates will be for both existing programs that are supported by past historical data, and for new work where estimates must be derived from comparisons to other similar programs. Lead the creation of Basis of estimate documents to support and explain cost estimates. Support integrated product teams with costing estimates, budgeting, and forecasts. Assist in estimating costs to complete for ongoing projects or production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies or reporting issues. Identify and report process or system inefficiencies encountered during daily tasks. Requirements Qualifications: 10+ years estimating experience. Costing for manufacturing products, and/or Defense related products a plus Degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using ERP systems. AI query experience a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Related Military Job Codes: We value military experience and recognize transferable skills.
