In this role, you’ll lead and contribute to achievement of business and department objectives through coordination and development of sales strategies and tactics with Target, ensuring implementation of established Customer Business Plans. You will provide leadership and work with team members to advance performance, ensuring high level results. And you will be a key member of a high performing team and collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
The Senior Customer Business Partner will be an individual contributor, and the role will be hybrid out of the Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Strategically organize and develop quarterly and annual plans, internally and with Target, to drive results against KPIs of net sales, trade, DMSP, digital acceleration, and forecast accuracy.
  • Understand marketplace dynamics, and customer data & strategies.
  • Drive results through ongoing customer engagement. Develop and maintain sustainable business relationships with key contacts at Target. Understand their roles in strategy and decision-making processes, supporting cross-functional wiring with Target & K-C team.
  • Create respectful environment among team members, motivate peers to achieve results, and create opportunities for development.
  • Completely understand financial position when conducting business and operations planning at all times. Facilitate reconciliation on a frequent basis, and in a timely manner. Maintain robust risk & opportunity planning lists.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Sales or Customer Development roles
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, to leverage strong understanding of the consumer & the marketplace to drive strategies and growth in-store, on-line, and in social media.
  • Previous success collaborating with sales teams and participating in headquarter customer calls. Experience building customer and cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong command of business analysis tools & processes, and ability to continuously improve analytics. Knowledge of Customer Business Planning processes and ability to effectively utilize Trade Planning software.

  • Customer & Organizational leadership demonstrated by the ability to positively influence others, including strong communication, judgement & decisions making.

  • Must be able to go into the Minneapolis Sales office
  • Must travel to downtown Minneapolis office two days per week
