The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products. The Gill Corporation is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative with strong aerospace and customer account management experience. This role is responsible for overseeing the complete customer purchase order life cycle – from initial bid support through order fulfillment, delivery, and closure in accounts receivable. The senior CSR serves as the primary customer interface and works cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The duties include assisting the team of regional sales managers by monitoring, following up and proactively resolving inquiries, change and/or complaints. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Senior CSR will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Manage the full life cycle of customer purchase orders with accuracy and urgency, supporting Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) from bid phase through delivery. Ensure all changes are properly reviewed, documented, and processed in alignment with aerospace requirements. Receive, review, validate, and accurately enter customer purchase orders and change orders, ensuring alignment with contract terms, drawings/specifications, lead times, and regulatory requirements such as AS9100. Provide timely order status updates to customers by interfacing with Operations, Production Control, Planning, and Quality. Coordinate with Production Control to confirm lead times, minimum order quantities, capacity constraints, and other critical data prior to customer order acceptance. Negotiate expedite fees when applicable and collaborate with internal teams to support customer urgency while balancing operational realities. Serve as the primary communication channel between the customer, RSM, and internal departments, driving prompt issue resolution while maintaining business objectives and customer satisfaction. Process Requests for Information, Quotations, and Proposals. Support the preparation and submission of bid packages and may lead negotiations involving price, lead time, and delivery commitments. Assist the RSM with contract review activities, including evaluating terms and conditions and preparing for customer negotiations. Maintain accurate and organized customer data including contacts, program details, forecasted demand, meeting notes, and product usage. Document bid status, outcomes, and historical pricing in ERP and database systems. Actively participate in cross-functional and customer-facing meetings as required. Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Planning, Quality, Shipping, Finance, etc.) to provide clear and timely customer information. Complete all administrative responsibilities within required deadlines, maintaining accurate electronic records consistent with aerospace documentation standards. Manage global consignment inventory programs, including replenishment, billing, freight consolidation, and inventory level accuracy. Assist the Customer Service Manager with onboarding and training new hires. Perform other essential duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum requirement of High School Diploma. Minimum of 5 years’ customer service or account management experience; aerospace industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of aerospace customer expectations, documentation control, and quality/compliance environments (e.g., AS9100, contract review requirements, controlled documentation). Experience working with make-to-order or engineered-to-order products. Proficiency in SAP ERP or similar enterprise systems. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong organization skills with emphasis on electronic recordkeeping, audit readiness, and data accuracy. Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Preferred knowledge of composites, aerospace materials, or related technologies.
