Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements. Drive best practices in data science. Ensure data quality and integrity in all processes. Mentor and guide junior data scientists. Stay updated with the latest trends in data science. 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Develop, refine, and implement credit risk strategies using advanced analytics and unit economics to guide smart, profitable lending decisions Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to credit risk for new accounts and applications Monitor key portfolio metrics and segment-level performance to identify and address emerging credit risks proactively Partner cross-functionally with teams including Machine Learning, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Bank Partners, and more to align risk strategies with customer and business objectives Effectively communicate complex findings and strategy recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences Lead end-to-end project execution with minimal assistance as a credit risk expert Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks related to commercial lending
