Description

Design and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions in advanced factory scheduling, optimization and simulation that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability. Develop high-quality data analytics and applications that provide actionable insights for management and manufacturing teams. Collaborate across global sites to identify opportunities and deliver holistic solutions to drive continuous improvement in production metrics. Drive global alignment and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions. Possess a drive to make a difference and a passion for exploring new frontiers. Highly motivated, proactive, with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Master's/Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science or other quantitative disciplines with strong emphasis on optimization, simulation, and algorithmic problem-solving. Minimum 3 years of hands-on or experience in factory scheduling, optimization modeling, or simulation in a manufacturing or operations context. Knowledge and experience in optimization (LP, MIP, meta-heuristics) and tools like CPLEX/Gurobi strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience in discrete event simulation and reinforcement learning preferred. Direct experience with factory scheduling preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is a strong advantage for global collaboration Able and willing to travel overseas
