Description

The ESS Planning team is seeking an ambitious Supply Chain Professional with a proven track record in Demand Planning and 5 step S&OP process.
The successful candidate will support the continuous improvement of effective and sustainable Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP, S&OP, IBP) processes across ESS, focused on demand planning. This position will ensure that demand planning is integrated with the remaining E2E planning functions, including supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, and life cycle management into a common plan. The role will focus on Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) with particular emphasis on Consensus Demand Planning and long-term demand planning. Supports the facilitation of the demand planning meetings, the supply planning process, the financial reconciliation and the final executive SIOP plan review. The role will be dedicated to implementing policies and procedures within the Business Units (BU’s) and driving the adoption of best practices for SIOP and Demand Planning. The role will also foresee the implementation of an advanced planning tool & migration from APO in the near future.

Must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying lean techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

  • Lead the center of excellence within the ESS business to develop & mature processes in SIOP & Demand Planning
  • Lead demand planning improvements, standardization & maturity by working the line of business demand planners, sales excellence & business leads. Lead initiatives to improve building blocks of demand, leading/market indicators driving demand plans, Advanced Statistical Forecasting etc.
  • Lead continuous improvements, standardization & maturity in demand metrics by setting annual targets, tracking Forecast Accuracy, Bias & Forecast Value Add. Coach demand planners to focus on 80/20, continuously improve RCCA & add business value.
  • Lead improvements, standardization & maturity in NPI launches, NPI forecasting, Transitions, Phase-In/Outs and Portfolio Optimization through rationalizations, end-of-life planning, Product & Customer segmentation etc.
  • Lead for 5-step SIOP improvements, standardization & maturity by working with the Global planning leaders, Product Operations & Business Senior Leadership (GMs, CFOs, VPs & Presidents)
  • Facilitate the ESS level executive SIOP review with Senior Leadership with an emphasis on improving visibility to risks & opportunities, lay-out key decisions & track RAILs.
  • Lead the yearly SIOP assessment process to measure SIOP effectiveness across various criteria and drive continuous improvement plans to mature scores YoY.
  • Lead the analysis, requirements & selection of advanced planning system in collaboration with IT to replace the current SAP APO planning system. Once selected, lead the implementation & rollout of functionalities across business units. Post-implementation, lead the effort to use, mature & continuously improve tool & process functionality.
  • Develop dashboards, automation, self-serve analytics through Snowflake, Power BI and other AI/ML tools
  • Coach and mentor planners to improve their skills and capability in preparation for growth
