QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical
  • Verbal and written communication, Spanish and English
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Value Engineering, Producibility and Sustaining for team with program Customer
  • CATIA basics
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Focus on results, customers and develop/share Knowledge
  • Motivate members and creates a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of Composites
  • Certification with Six Sigma
  • Certification with MBA o Technical MS

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Designs major components or major portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototypes, and specific products using computer design and engineering systems.
  • Develops or improves products and facilitates manufacturing operations.
  • Develops data and makes parametric models, layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals. Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.
  • Designs, develops and tests metallic or non-metallic structures or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
