KEYSTONE ENGINEERING IS CURRENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

Position Type: Full Time
Location: Nassau Bay, TX
Work Environment: Office/Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 8-15 years of piping design in Auto CAD.
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
  • Attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Associate’s degree in CAD.
  • CADWorx experience.
  • Plant 3D experience.
Responsibilities
  • Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
  • Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
  • Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
  • Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
  • Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
  • Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Ensures all drawings have been properly checked.
  • Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.
