Core responsibilities Act as first or second-level support for incidents and requests related to ServiceNow (logging, triaging, resolving or escalating issues). Help users with navigation, catalog requests, and basic functionality; provide clear updates and maintain good customer service. Perform basic configuration under guidance: updating forms, fields, catalog items, assignment groups, and simple workflows or business rules. Monitor platform health (queues, basic performance, scheduled jobs) and follow standard procedures to report or fix common issues. Document solutions, create or update knowledge articles, and maintain simple how‑to guides for end users. Skills and knowledge Basic understanding of ITSM concepts like incidents, requests, change, and problem. Familiarity with the ServiceNow interface (lists, forms, filters, reports) and willingness to learn administration. Good communication skills for dealing with end users and cross‑functional IT teams. Basic troubleshooting mindset: reproduce issues, check logs or related records, and identify when to escalate. Often expected or encouraged: ServiceNow Fundamentals training and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) over time. Typical requirements 2-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar). Degree in IT / Computer Science / related field, or equivalent experience. Willingness to work in shifts or on‑call rotations in some organizations
