Description
Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and process performance in assigned areas. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using mechanical, electronic, and software trouble-shooting skills. Apply sound decision-making methodologies to resolve equipment and process issues efficiently. Establish and maintain accurate documentation for equipment procedures, trouble-shooting guides, and maintenance logs. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements. Promote and adhere to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) core beliefs and practices. May provide coaching, mentoring, and training to technicians and new team members. Communicate effectively across shifts and departments to ensure continuity and alignment. Actively pursue personal and professional development to stay ahead of with evolving technologies and standards. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience. Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), with flexibility to support shift changes and overtime. Strong trouble-shooting skills and experience working with complex equipment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. 4+ years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing equipment support. Proven experience mentoring and training technicians or leading shift-level initiatives. Strong understanding of TPM principles and their application in a fab environment. Experience with equipment documentation systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing practices. Strong trouble-shooting skills and experience working with complex equipment in a manufacturing environment.
