Description

LPL Financial is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented website publisher with substantial digital skills to help us manage content, drive digital best-practices on our external and internal websites, and consult on integrated marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This senior digital consultant must have a clear understanding of web KPIs and is responsible for ensuring content is consistent with site standards, style guides and experience. This individual will work side-by-side with a variety of internal content owners and experts to publish and optimize content that promotes department and company objectives.
This senior digital consultant should be collaborative, supportive of internal business partners and have excellent time management skills. This senior digital consultant should also possess a strong intellectual curiosity and ability to structure and solve problems with minimal supervision. The role reports to the AVP of Digital Onsite Channels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Content Management, Web Development or related field
  • Experience with enterprise content management systems, Microsoft SharePoint Online and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
  • Experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot or similar) is a must
  • Knowledge and understanding of the relationship between CRMs (Salesforce) with enterprise marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot or similar) is preferred
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, other content and media production tools
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS (JavaScript and any other languages/frameworks a bonus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar and proofreading skills
  • Passionate about web content best practices and optimizing content for the web
  • Should have an understanding of UI/UX principles and a technical knowledge of how web-based applications are built and managed
  • Ability to multitask and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience coaching/supporting non-technical users

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the website, including content updates, publishing, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure that all published content meets quality standards and aligns with our brand voice
  • Optimize web content for SEO to increase visibility and traffic
  • Leverage data to inform/recommend digital campaigns and website management that meet business goals
  • Actively evaluate and update website content based on KPIs
  • Work hands-on with Digital leads and business partners to proactively plan how website and content can be organized to support effective communication including: Provide proactive content planning to support campaigns, updates and new initiatives and use the LPL websites to promote and curate that content.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities relevant for web publishing including marketing campaign landing pages, templates, a/b testing, and AEM components
  • Lead and support digital projects including: web pages, landing pages, online forms and online/email campaigns
  • Make recommendations to improve best practices that make our work more efficient, effective, and technically front-of field
  • Maintain and enhance existing website components
  • Serve as a content management system and website subject matter expert (SME) for content publishers across the firm
  • Act as approver and publisher in approval workflow
  • Understand, adhere to and influence improvements in LPL’s content governance guidelines and editorial style guide to ensure content aligns with LPL brand standards and overall site style
  • Conduct ongoing audits of site content, updating, maintaining, and retiring content as needed
  • Troubleshoot and respond quickly to issues in order to resolve them quickly
  • Apply your expertise to identify technical issues and work with Technology to resolve
  • Lead and support development of SOPs for Digital Team
  • Articulate and prioritize business and functional requirements to IT and third party development teams
  • Helps drive business partner understanding of web property usage and helps other functions incorporate website usage into their communication strategies
