Job Description ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Designer, Sports to join the Versant Digital Platforms & Ventures Creative team. This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering high-impact visual design across our sports portfolio, including GolfNow, GolfPass, TeeOff, and GolfNow for Business. This is a highly hands-on, creative role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about storytelling through design. You’ll partner closely with Creative Directors, marketers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring campaigns and brand experiences to life across digital, social, web, email, and experiential channels. Your work will directly influence how millions of users experience our sports brand-driving engagement, strengthening brand equity, and supporting business growth. As Versant continues to evolve as a modern media company, this role helps define what best-in-class creative looks like across platforms. Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL DO Conceptualize and execute high-quality, on-brand creative across campaigns, digital platforms, and marketing channels Translate business goals and brand strategies into compelling visual storytelling that drives engagement and performance Partner cross-functionally to develop and deliver integrated campaigns from concept through execution Maintain and evolve brand systems, balancing consistency with innovation Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time in a fast-paced environment Present ideas clearly, incorporate feedback effectively, and continuously improve creative output, including leveraging AI tools to enhance speed and quality WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5–8+ years of experience in design within an agency or in-house creative/marketing environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaigns, and digital work Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern design tools; experience with motion, video, or emerging formats is a plus Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and visual systems, with a deep understanding of brand development and marketing strategy Ability to think conceptually while executing with precision and attention to detail HOW WE DO IT AT VERSANT Trust: You take ownership of your work, consistently delivering high-quality creative with accountability and integrity Teamwork: You collaborate effectively across creative, marketing, and product teams, contributing to a shared vision Transparency: You communicate ideas, feedback, and rationale clearly and constructively Agility: You adapt quickly to shifting priorities, feedback, and evolving business needs Entrepreneurial Spirit: You bring curiosity, proactive thinking, and a drive to continuously improve how work gets done—including exploring AI and new tools BONUS POINTS Experience with motion graphics, illustration, 3D, or video Familiarity with DAM systems and project management tools (e.g., Asana) Passion for sports, especially golf Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
