Description The Senior Digital Marketing Strategist leads the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives that drive growth, engagement, and brand trust for Blaze Credit Union. This role blends leadership, strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and superior content creation to deliver measurable results. As a part of the Marketing & Communications team, this position also supports marketing and management with research, data mining and analysis to assist in making strategic and operational decisions to support organizational goals. Requirements Major Responsibilities & Duties Creates and executes a digital marketing strategy that drives engagement with the brand across digital platforms. (30%) Manages YouTube account and reports on trends. Manages in-branch digital marketing platform. Acts as digital lead with third-party media partners on campaigns including paid search, display, programmatic, and retargeting. Assist with managing GA4, Tag Manager, and Google Ads account. Analyzes the data being collected and provides recommendations on targeted audiences and campaigns for the Blaze brand, products and services. Assists with executing marketing strategies to leverage Blaze partnerships. Implementation and optimization of new digital marketing/CRM platform. (30%) Becomes an expert on a new marketing CRM platform. Configures data within the system from multiple data sources. Identifies personas and member journeys. Assists in creating unique targeted marketing campaigns. Creates and executes a social media strategy that drives engagement with the brand on social media platforms. (25%) Executes and analyzes social media ads to increase lead generation and conversion. Analyze social listening platform and competitor data. Provide recommendations on how Blaze can outperform our competitors and improve brand sentiment. Reports regularly on social media effectiveness and provides recommendations for future campaigns. Assists with curating regular social media content and posts by managing a social media calendar and maintaining a consistent brand voice. Manages the timely response to comments and direct messages, and funnels reviews and recommendations in accordance with the Blaze Online Review & Recommendation Process. Other Duties Supports overall digital communications efforts. (10%) Assists in writing press releases, Blaze News, Blaze Buzz, and website copy. Assists with ALCO and executive reports. Assists in publishing alert notifications on blazecu.com, BlazeFinder, and Blaze Digital Banking. Actively promotes the Blaze brand and supports Blaze goals. (5%) Assists in the planning and execution of marketing events including the All-staff Meeting, Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Day, and partner and community activations. Acts as a brand ambassador to Blaze staff and the public. Assists in distributing promotional materials to staff and branches. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategic digital marketing. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field. Strong understanding of performance marketing, analytics, and digital conversions. Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects under guidance. Receptive to feedback and able to adjust work accordingly. A sense of ownership and pride in your work and its impact on credit union success. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal associates and members on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $75,000 to $90,000/annually. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
