As a Sr. Director, Workplace Acquisition on the Lifecycle Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role by leading a unique digital acquisition channel responsible for acquiring new business in our Workplace ecosystem. You’ll leverage user insights and analytics to boost performance and enhance the full user journey.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in digital marketing, campaign optimization, or performance marketing roles, ideally in a B2B2C environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting insights and strategies to various audiences, including executives
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Strong data-storyteller skilled at analyzing and synthesizing results and insights to communicate desired outcomes/recommendations
  • Is adept at thinking creatively and innovatively to achieve desired results
  • Proficiency with Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting and basic page authoring
  • A proven leader with previous experience managing and growing a team
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach for identifying risks and opportunities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment
    Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $161,900 - $215,900. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities
  • Partner Marketing Execution: Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement marketing programs that leverage partner website placements to drive user engagement and conversions.
  • Team Leadership & Optimization: Lead a small team of marketers to efficiently launch, test, and optimize digital placements, ensuring speed-to-market and continuous performance improvement.
  • Testing Strategy Oversight: Architect and oversee A/B and multivariate testing strategies using Adobe Target to deliver data-driven insights that improve the effectiveness of digital ad placements and enrollment landing pages.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including integrated marketing, brand, product, and technical partners, to ensure campaigns align with program goals and deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Performance Analysis & Planning: Analyze channel performance data to surface insights and build actionable, forward-looking strategic plans.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Support the team as both a leader and active contributor—guiding prioritization while also participating in hands-on work, such as audience creation, ad placement setup, and real-time performance optimization.
  • Crisis & Issue Management: Smoothly handle crisis management, troubleshooting and proactively identifying technical issues across platforms to ensure minimal downtime, efficient resolution and clear communication.
  • Landing Page Management: Apply basic front-end development skills and work within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to author, manage, and optimize campaign landing pages and related digital assets.
