Community banking experience is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring credit policies and procedures, including risk grading, underwriting standards, and loan review Advanced knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, loan structuring, and financial statement interpretation Expertise in credit risk management, portfolio stress testing, risk rating systems, and allowance for ACL methodologies Proficient with credit administration systems, loan origination platforms, and core banking software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools Strong ability to prepare, interpret, and present complex credit and risk management reports for executive management, Board committees, and regulators Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing credit and lending teams with a commitment to staff training, performance management, and succession planning Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex credit and risk information clearly to the Board of Directors, executive management, regulators, and staff Unquestionable integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field. MBA preferred. Credit Risk Certification (CRC), Certified Lender Business Banker (CLBB), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar credentials are advantageous
