Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and evolve team structures to support growth and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Oversee and own staffing strategy, partnering with HR and recruiting to manage hiring, onboarding, and job descriptions.
  • Own the partnership with Centralized Resourcing to ensure optimal staffing models for both full-time and contingent workforce needs.
  • Develop and implement training, leadership development, and performance review programs.
  • Coach people managers to deliver feedback, drive engagement, and promote a high-performing, inclusive culture.
  • Accountable for supporting people managers in all employee relations concerns, including performance management escalations
  • Lead the performance review process, including calibration, feedback, and promotion planning.
  • Lead initiatives for team recognition, well-being, and connection
  • Lead analysis and action planning from Culture Amp Engagement surveys to continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Monitor attrition and implement retention strategies, stay interviews, and career development planning.
  • Manage internship programs to build future talent pipelines.
  • Provide leadership with workforce analytics and insights on headcount, DEI, and organizational health.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May manage 5-10 direct reports within Event Management, ranging from Event Managers to Senior Directors.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE MAY LOOK LIKE

  • Collaborates across teams to ensure operational success and long-term growth.
  • Acts as the key partner to Talent Acquisition, leading recruitment efforts for the Event Management team to build a diverse, dynamic workforce.
  • Designs onboarding experiences that integrate new hires quickly and effectively, and develops tailored training to support the growth of event professionals.
  • Leads a streamlined feedback and review process that drives performance, clarity in promotion paths, and employee development.
  • Mentors people managers, equipping them to lead with confidence and foster strong teams.
  • Builds and reinforces an inclusive, values-driven, high-performing culture through initiatives that strengthen connection and recognition.
  • Proactively addresses employee retention, creating strategies that make the workplace a meaningful career destination.
  • Builds future talent pipelines and delivers actionable workforce insights to inform decisions around staffing, promotion, and engagement.
