Location: Kaiseraugst, Switzerland As Senior Director Global Manufacturing & Technology, Human Nutrition and Health Premix, you will be directly accountable for delivering global manufacturing excellence and technology outcomes across our Premix operations. You will own and drive continuous improvement, optimize performance, and ensure best-in-class quality and efficiency, with clear responsibility for achieving measurable business results. As the global owner of manufacturing technologies, you are not only expected to advise and support but to lead, implement, and deliver tangible operational and financial impact. You will oversee and be accountable for asset and CAPEX strategies, resolve complex issues, and ensure scalable, future-ready operations. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, you will translate business strategy into operational results, supporting HNH and TTH ambitions for accelerated, profitable growth and superior customer service. Your key responsibilities Analyze and benchmark manufacturing site performance, identify improvement opportunities, hold teams accountable and ensure delivery of targeted improvements. Map global premix capabilities, assess technologies, act as owner and knowledge holder of the technologies applied globally, establish topic champions and development academies (incl. exchange on best practices and learn from each other). Build, improve and sustain a culture of continuous improvement (IMPACT program) through frameworks, role definitions, and competence development. Track implementation of excellence processes, take ownership of complex troubleshooting and deliver resolution with measurable impact, and ensure sites implement effective solutions and achieve defined outcomes. Develop asset strategies, manage CAPEX budgets, and lead feasibility studies to support growth and capability expansion. Drive digitization and cybersecurity initiatives, lead site manager networks, contribute to strategic projects, and serve on the Premix Operations Leadership Team and dsm-firmenich functional leadership team for manufacturing excellence. You bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or food sciences, with 15+ years in Operations or Supply Chain, including 10-15 years in Production/Technology Site Management in feed, food, beverage, or life-science industries. Certified in Green/Black Belt, qualified to lead large investment projects as Project Director. Expertise in blending technologies, automation, digitization, and strategic implementation of complex change initiatives. Strong problem-solving, lean/six sigma, and facilitation skills, with experience in shaping and deploying improvement programs in matrix organizations. Proven leadership and coaching capabilities, with cross-cultural sensitivity, customer focus, and excellent self-organization. Strategic thinker with experience in managing CAPEX, driving operational excellence, and supporting long-term business growth.
