QUALIFICATIONS:
PURPOSE:
Serve as the Senior Director of Government Affairs with primary responsibility for state government affairs and to advise and support the Senior Vice President and Chief Government Affairs Officer (CGAO) in the implementation of UPMC’s goals and objectives. The Senior Director will manage and supervise system business unit managers regarding their state government affairs activities. The Senior Director will supervise all contract lobbyists engaged in state government projects on behalf of UPMC. The Senior Director will also direct and manage the Manager of Government Affairs in central Pennsylvania to ensure cohesive strategies are implemented with excellence across the geographic footprint of the organization.
