Manage a broad range of HR functions and serve as a key resource across the organization, offering guidance on complex HR matters and ensuring HR operations align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Essential Functions Provide direct support to the CHRO in strategic planning, project management, and execution of essential HR initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, handling complex HR matters and driving initiatives that support NRF’s overall goals and objectives. Oversee talent acquisition efforts; monitor trends and leverage knowledge, networks, and opportunities to attract talented, diverse, and emerging professionals to NRF. Manage full benefits portfolio including medical, 401(k), disability, FMLA, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, voluntary and wellness programs. Oversee new hire onboarding and offboarding processes. Collect, analyze, and report on HR metrics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs. Oversee payroll, manage external payroll consultant, prepare reports, review payroll account reconciliations, troubleshoot issues, and manage payroll solutions provider. Manage relationships with vendors, benefit carriers, brokers, consultants, and temporary employment agencies. Maintain knowledge of current local, state, and federal laws, and benefit plan documents. Leverage capabilities of HR system for all HR functions and artificial intelligence tools to automate routine HR processes, analyze workforce data, and generate actionable insights. Collaborate with the CHRO to identify areas where AI can enhance decision-making, improve employee experience, and streamline HR operations. Support the annual audit processes and assist in the development of HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior HR professionals and office administration team. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree or certifications related to HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, a plus. Minimum eight years’ experience in human resources. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience defining and utilizing business metrics to accomplish and measure initiatives. Collaborative team-player able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Ability to organize multiple and varied assignments. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Ability to consistently demonstrate high integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, HR Systems, and AI tools. Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with employees at all levels.
