Job Title: Senior Director, Materials Vendor Management and Operations Location: Hong Kong The Role As the Senior Director of Materials Vendor Management and Operations, you will lead the identification, vetting, and onboarding of strategic material suppliers, ensuring the delivery of the right products, at the right time, and at the right cost. You’ll drive execution excellence by establishing strong operational discipline across material testing, systems, and data integrity, and design supplier capability development programs to continuously improve performance, quality, and long-term value. Your Impact Own and lead end-to-end materials procurement and supplier relationship management for sheepskin, leathers, and other materials across footwear, apparel, and accessories categories Oversee material commercialization, testing, usage validation, and quality control, providing manufacturing quality assurance guidelines Establish comprehensive quality systems (QIP) to enhance material reliability and develop programs for vendor-partners to adopt these standards Execute the T2 Vendor Scorecard Program to measure vendor performance across quality, delivery, cost, and leadership maturity Segment vendors and materials into strategic, regular, and flexible categories to ensure supply chain scalability, flexibility, and competitiveness Drive T2 vendor operational process digitization, monitor digital maturity, and develop localization strategies for future sourcing facilities Lead collaboration with T1 partners to define product traceability requirements Work with the ESG team to execute sustainability programs and collect data for sustainability and traceability initiatives Coordinate with the Trade Compliance team to align with customer and government trade laws and regulations Champion Deckers Career Architecture (DCA) to drive clear employee development practices, roles, goals, feedback, and career paths Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across teams and brands, leveraging consumer insights to drive innovation and growth Develop and retain high-potential talent, build a leadership bench, and promote an inclusive, diverse workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered We celebrate diversity—of your background, your experiences and your unique identity.
