Description:
The Sr Director of Operations at J&B Virtual Solutions is an executive level position responsible to direct and coordinate the strategy, growth and profitability of J&B Virtual Solutions, a telecommunications and healthcare technology company. The primary responsibilities include the ability to evaluate current service and product offerings and develop a strategy to net higher ROI and optimization of workflow, implementing efficiencies and generating strategies and policies associated with the goals of the organization. This role is responsible for expense control, leading software development efforts & sales processes, staff management, and monitoring daily operations of the business, ensuring organizational goals are being accomplished and customer expectations and deliverables are being achieved.
Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years’ experience with similar job duties in a leadership, managing capacity.
• Must be familiar with programming languages: C#, SQL, Angular 8 (typescript), and Javascript and agile software development life cycle.
• Must have prior experience managing technical teams (developers, BA, QA, etc) and developing and executing short- and long-term strategies.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of telehealth, medical and/or telecommunications industries.
• Leadership experience within software development environment.
• Prior start-up experience.
• Experience managing sales teams is a plus but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Continuously evaluate product offerings (telecommunications/video conferencing platform and telehealth platform) to ensure they are current with market trends in healthcare and telecommunications.
• Oversee and partner with the development team to enhance product capabilities and/or build new products or capabilities pursuant to market conditions or customer requirements.
• Lead design and implementation of multiple software projects, including supervising teams.
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
• Provide inspired leadership for the organization. Make important policy, planning, personnel and strategy decisions.
• Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise, troubleshooting problems and mentoring team members.
• Document requirements, feature sets and other key criteria, setting development schedule and tracking metrics.
• Direct software development projects using programming languages: C#, SQL, Angular 8 (typescript), and Javascript.
• Oversight of technology frameworks including Web RTC.
• Research and pursue new business leads for the growth of the business.
• Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has overall supervisory responsibility for J&B Virtual Solutions.
