Responsibilities

Senior Director of Revenue Integrity is responsible for overseeing revenue cycle processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and maximization of revenue for the organization. This leadership role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance revenue integrity, reduce leakage, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The Senior Director collaborates with key stakeholders across finance, operations, compliance, and clinical teams to optimize revenue capture, billing, and reimbursement processes.

  • Develop and lead revenue integrity strategies to optimize revenue capture and minimize financial risk.
  • Oversee charge capture, coding compliance, documentation integrity, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with finance, billing, and clinical departments to ensure accurate charge description master (CDM) maintenance and updates.
  • Implement best practices for revenue cycle management, including audits and process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue trends, denials, and payer reimbursement policies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
  • Lead a team of revenue integrity specialists and analysts, providing mentorship and professional development.
  • Partner with IT and data analytics teams to enhance revenue cycle reporting and technology utilization.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce revenue leakage and improve the accuracy of coding and billing processes.
