We are seeking a Sr. Dir. - Operations North America, Plastics to lead and optimize manufacturing operations across our plants in the region. This leadership role presents an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability across our facilities while ensuring that Kohler’s high-quality standards are maintained.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sr. Director, Operations North America, Plastics oversees manufacturing operations for plastics in Kohler’s plants across North America. The Sr. Director will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of products, optimizing manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and aligning regional operations with Kohler’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, a passion for operational excellence, and a commitment to driving sustainable manufacturing practices across a global organization.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple plants or large-scale manufacturing operations.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proven expertise in managing manufacturing operations across multiple facilities and regions.
  • Extensive experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards.
  • Experience with sustainability practices and implementing energy-efficient manufacturing solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, cross-functional teams and leading large-scale operational change initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Proficient in manufacturing technologies, automation, and data analytics.
