Enterprise Leadership & Strategic Vision – Ability to define and drive the product strategy, vision, and performance for digital customer engagement across Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s portfolio, influencing enterprise-wide priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Skilled at partnering with technology, marketing, merchandising, and analytics teams to deliver integrated product experiences that drive customer loyalty and personalization.
Customer-Centric Mindset – Deep understanding of customer behaviors and preferences to shape personalized experiences that enhance engagement and lifetime value.
Data-Driven Decision Making – Expertise in leveraging customer data, analytics, and experimentation to inform product roadmaps, measure impact, and optimize recommendations.
Innovation & Technology Acumen – Strong knowledge of digital product management, machine learning, personalization engines, and recommendation systems in a retail context.
Influencing & Negotiation – Ability to influence senior leaders, brand partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on product goals, secure resources, and drive execution.
Agile Product Delivery – Proficiency in agile methodologies to lead product teams through continuous delivery cycles, prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.
Team Leadership & Development – Experience managing and mentoring high-performing product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.
Business Acumen & Financial Management – Strong understanding of retail business drivers, revenue models, and the ability to manage budgets and P&L related to digital product lines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers by coaching and guiding them to deliver product solutions that meet both customer and business needs.
  • Define the enterprise-wide product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for your domain to differentiate Macy’s ecommerce experience.
  • Drive executive decision-making, cross-functional alignment, and enterprise-wide thought leadership around product vision, roadmap, and execution.
  • Lead and coordinate complex, enterprise-wide initiatives involving significant business, product, and technical challenges across multiple functions.
  • Continuously improve team productivity by partnering with Engineering, UX, and other product portfolios to enhance efficiencies throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Establish, monitor, and take ownership of team performance metrics.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
