Description

EDUCATION:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related technical field is required.
  • Advanced certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Document Control (e.g., CDIA+, AIIM) are preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in document control or quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, managing complex documentation systems, and driving process improvements.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Comprehensive understanding of document control systems and industry standards such as ISO 9001, FDA, or GMP.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, with expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document control software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization.

  • Document Management Strategy: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance document control processes, ensuring scalability and alignment with Starline’s growth objectives.
  • Oversight of Quality Documentation: Direct and oversee the creation, organization, maintenance, and security of critical documentation, including procedures, manuals, records, and technical reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Ensure all document control practices comply with industry standards such as ISO 9001, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process optimization, data integrity improvements, and the adoption of new technologies in document management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing document control team, cultivating a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to coordinate documentation needs and ensure seamless communication.
  • Audit Readiness and Support: Oversee audit preparation, ensuring that documentation systems are audit-ready for internal reviews, external inspections, and regulatory assessments.
  • Training Programs: Design and deliver advanced training programs for staff and stakeholders on document control policies, systems, and regulatory updates.
