This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr EDI Software Engineer I (Remote) in United States. This role provides an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions in a collaborative, remote environment. The Sr EDI Software Engineer I will contribute to building scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems, including API integrations, event-driven pipelines, and SaaS applications. Working with cross-functional Agile teams, the role emphasizes code quality, mentorship, and adherence to software development best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and data pipeline architectures. This position combines technical leadership, problem-solving, and direct impact on critical software systems used across the organization. Accountabilities: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI and other enterprise software applications. Build and optimize scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications and high-volume data pipelines (ETL). Design, deploy, and monitor APIs and event-driven systems supporting web and front-end frameworks. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices. Implement security best practices across applications, databases, and cloud environments. Support onboarding documentation, monitoring tools, and automated processes. Interact with external vendor engineering teams for integration and problem resolution. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 4 years in software development, including C#/.NET, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data pipelines. Hands-on experience with NoSQL and relational databases (preferred MSSQL). Advanced knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Git, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices architecture. Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, team collaboration, and mentoring. Ability to build, troubleshoot, and monitor SaaS applications, APIs, and event-driven pipelines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of security best practices and experience applying them in development environments.
