Description
They play a vital role in supporting the healthcare ecosystem, ensuring products reach physicians, care facilities, and patients across the country. With more than 150,000 items in our distribution network, the reliability of our EDI systems is critical. We are seeking a Senior EDI Specialist to support a major, timesensitive migration of our EDI platform. This position is dedicated to executing a Lift & Shift transition of existing productrelated integrations from TrustedLink into the CIMS environment using ITXA and IBM Sterling Integrator (SI). This work is strictly focused on migration delivery—not production support or enhancement work. Success depends on maintaining accuracy, protecting transaction continuity, and ensuring a seamless cutover. Role Responsibilities Deliver fullcycle Lift & Shift migration of EDI product transactions with minimal transformation. Rebuild existing EDI maps, trading partner configurations, and workflows within IBM Sterling Integrator. Maintain seamless processing of product driven EDI transactions throughout testing and cutover events. Review current maps, protocols, certificates, and partner setups; reconstruct them in SI. Perform parallel testing, validation cycles, and structured production cutovers. Collaborate with internal teams and external trading partners to keep migrations on schedule. Manage transport protocols including AS2, SFTP, and VAN connectivity. Diagnose and resolve issues across mapping, transport, and integration layers. Produce clear migration documentation, including test results and cutover materials. Represent the migration workstream during planning and execution meetings. Operate independently in a fast paced, high visibility environment focused on delivery. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of hands on EDI experience, specifically involving platform or system migrations. Required Skills Demonstrated success executing EDI Lift & Shift migrations. Strong proficiency with IBM Sterling Integrator (SI). Experience transitioning from legacy EDI platforms (TrustedLink preferred). Deep understanding of EDI mapping, B2B integrations, and trading partner configurations. AS2, SFTP, and VAN onboarding/migration experience. Background working with product based EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 867, 844). Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities. Effective communication skills across technical and business teams. Ability to manage multiple concurrent migration tasks with limited oversight. Critical Competencies Expertise with distribution focused EDI systems and product transaction flows. Proficiency with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator BP Modeler and mapping tools. Experience with both SI Mapper and ITXA Mapper. Exposure to AS/400, DB2, and CL programs. Understanding of secure data exchange and EDI encryption standards. Knowledge of EDI terminology, lifecycle processes, and transaction behavior. Experience leading or owning significant EDI migration components. Ability to work both autonomously and within a coordinated migration team. Preferred Experience Background working with CIMS. EDI migration experience in largescale or healthcare enterprises. Distribution or supplychain industry experience. SQL experience (Oracle and/or DB2). HL7 familiarity (plus). Linux exposure (plus). Prior project-based EDI work. Compensation, Benefits and Duration Minimum Compensation: USD 60,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 210,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees. This position is available for independent contractors No applications will be considered if received more than 120 days after the date of this post
