Responsibilities:
- Develop software for command and control of hardware-in-the-loop systems.
- Lead systems integration, systems design and code review activities.
- Support HIL infrastructure and facilitate daily/nightly build regression testing.
- Contribute to Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technology system-level test strategy.
- Produce automated test systems for functional, performance and fault-injection testing.
- Execute test campaigns aligned with development and validation phases of new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience (3+ in software test, validation or automation).
- Skilled in Object-oriented programming utilizing a compiled language.
- Prior experience with CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet or Serial communication.
- Expertise in building cross-platform applications for Linux and Windows.
- Comfortable with rapid changes and seeking out solutions independently.
- Python experience is is a plus.
Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Irvine Based Applicants: $135,100 - $168,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Palo Alto Based Applicants: $146,900 - $183,600 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
