OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations professional with deep expertise in driving effective resolution of employee concerns, while ensuring compliance with company policy and employment laws. This position will lead high-impact investigations, serve as the subject matter expert in Employee Relations matters and will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ER professional to influence organizational culture and employee experience.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

CRITICAL SKILLS:

  • The ideal person with have a minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on Employee Relations
  • Demonstrated ability working on multiple cases with competing priorities.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to build trust across all levels
  • Skilled in influencing others and navigating conflict
  • Sound judgment and decisiveness in complex situations
  • High level of candor, credibility, and professional presence
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject matter expert in one or more specialized regulatory areas (e.g. EEOC, ADA) or Employee Relations areas of expertise.
  • Responsible for leading investigations and responding to internal and external complaints, agency charges, and attorney demands and handling other complex, high-risk, or sensitive ER cases.
  • Develop strategies and draft responses to third-party inquiries, including EEOC, OFCCP, and other government agencies, as well as potential litigation.
  • Provide consultation, guidance and coaching to People Leaders to address employee behavior and performance concerns; provide guidance and assist with the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective/disciplinary actions.
  • Provide training on Employee Relations topics
  • Maintain required documentation within case management system, including intake and investigative notes, supporting documents and final reports.
