Description
Main Mission Ensure the manufacturing feasibility of the molded parts and tooling and quality control tools. Responsible for molded parts and tools for manufacturing process. Provide technical expertise to plants, purchasing, local industrialization teams, …etc Ensure Industrialization & Support Engineering for Plants (product / new processes / capacity / technical requirements) 2. MAIN ACTIVITIES Industrialize new molds for new products or capacity / productivity / quality improvements Set up and qualify molds for production at internal facilities or external suppliers Audit molds & process, suppliers, toolmakers & internal/external molding factories (technical audit) Provide technical support & Train operators, engineers, supervisors, etc on molding processes/tooling/equipment Responsible for transfer of skills linked to transfer projects Contribute to technological breakthrough Contribute to “Make or Buy” analysis to assess supplier capabilities Participate or lead in the introduction of new technologies for molding Upgrade Schneider standards for molding and related processes Deploy best practices for molding and related processes Ability to travel 25-30%25 Some remote work acceptable NEEDED COMPETENCIES / SKILLS: Solid project management skills Preferred to have approx. 10+ years of both Thermoset and Thermoplastic molding & tooling experience Good problem-solving skills (8d, fishbone, etc) Good decision maker, works well in an independent or team environment Good experience with CAD (computer aided design), such as Creo, Solidworks, etc Strong experience in manufacturing operations, project management (Industrialization or Methods) Strong English skills (verbal and writing) Very good leadership, capability to inspire, motivate and lead various people in a transversal mode Ability to excel within an uncertain environment, ability to collaborate (building of transverse principles of the company in an international environment) and build a solid network Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
