Description

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Education Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • Ex course
  • FSE course

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 8 years experience from automation engineering in greenfield projects located on Norwegian
  • Continental Shelf
  • Minimum 4 years experience working with SAS system design in oil & gas EPC projects
  • Additional experience from modification projects is an advantage
  • Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as
  • NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC
  • Experience and good knowledge of relevant philosophies, standards and guidelines used by Equinor (Typically TR3031, TR3034, TR2258, TR1658 etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - Both orally and in writing
  • A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently
  • Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • You are proactive, you have a willingness to learn, you seek advice and share own experiences with others
Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large EPC consisting of new modules and brownfield adaptation on an onshore installation. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within automation engineering in a large international working environment:

TYPICAL TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Coordination of relevant suppliers for update of existing engineering simulator
  • Coordinate use of engineering simulator for design verification and testing.
  • Discipline input to commissioning procedures according to project schedule
