JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions for DerbySoft’s Portal Product. This position demands exceptional technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to successfully drive complex projects to completion. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless alignment with business objectives while upholding the highest technical standards and best practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in:
• Spring / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud, Mybatis, Hibernate, JPA, and other open-source frameworks, with the ability to perform secondary development.
• Front-end development technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, ReactJS, GraphQL, and NPM.
• Unit testing frameworks like Jest / Junit / Easy Mock / Spockframework.
• Functional testing framework like CodeceptJS, Puppeteer, NightwatchJS, and MochaJS
• Code version management tools such as Github or Bitbucket.
• Code build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Code bundle tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in an Agile development environment.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, and scalable systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the Travel Industry.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with container management systems such as Kubernetes.
• Contributions to open-source projects or published technical papers.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure software systems.
• Lead the technical design and architecture discussions, ensuring alignment with product requirements and long-term strategies.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and QA teams, to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and enhancing system reliability
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Drive code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to best practices
• Adhering to the SDLC process to ensure all deliverables comply with security requirements.
