Description
The people at Apple don’t just build products — we craft the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. Apple is where individual creativity comes together, contributing to the values that lead to extraordinary work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver, is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger. The Wallet, Payments & Commerce (WPC) Card/Savings PMO team is looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to drive Apple Card & Savings projects. We deliver integrated system solutions for Apple Card and Savings and work closely with multiple stakeholders, Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and others within Apple as well as external partners. We live in a fast-paced matrix organization where you will need to scope and prepare projects from the beginning across multiple teams, handle documentation, effectively communicate project status, manage project risk, and drive continuous improvement. The digitization of wallet content is an exciting space. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work in the team that powers Apple Card & Savings! DESCRIPTION The Engineering Project Manager thrives in complexity, leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery. Blending technical depth with operational rigor and strong internal and external stakeholders management, this role ensures teams stay aligned, focused, and on track to deliver high-quality outcomes against business priorities. This is a fast-paced workplace where individual drive, innovation, and team collaboration are the keys to success. You have unshakable integrity and are as comfortable speaking to executives in open forums as you are with discussing bugs with a team member. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or we may consider equivalent industry experience. 10+ years of Technical and Cross-Functional Project and/or Program Management experience. 6+ years of leading cross-functional projects, specifically managing dependencies across internal and external partners, and owning the end-to-end project delivery. 6+ years of driving complex technical programs, defining roadmaps, identifying and mitigating risks, securing multi-functional alignment, and implementing delivery processes. 3+ recent years of leading an engineering team through the SDLC of a customer facing product, ideally within the data, analytics, payments and/or financial technology space. Results oriented, highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment at detailed levels whilst taking account of interdependencies at higher levels. Experience and ease interacting with and influencing partners and senior executive leadership, push projects and programs forward. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to participate in and facilitate technical design brainstorming sessions. Able to build a positive relationship with cross-functional internal organizations. Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead project teams to the successful delivery of solutions. Have inherent passion to lead, mentor and grow other EPMs in our PMO team.
