Welcome to Love’s: Love’s environmental is looking for a Sr. Environmental Compliance Analyst. This individual will be primarily responsible for leading a team of Environmental Field Analysts to ensure environmental compliance programs are properly managed. Other duties include performing periodic environmental regulatory compliance audits and training terminal personnel. Communicating with upper management routinely as to the progress of duties will be required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a hard science discipline, such as: Environmental Science/Management, Biology, Geology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or an Engineering discipline is required.
  • Advanced degree may be required
  • 5-8 years of experience in the environmental regulatory field.
  • Experience in report writing and interfacing with federal, state and local environmental compliance regulators is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of UST and AST regulations, vapor recovery systems, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and OSHA is required.
  • Experience with SPCC and FRP plan management, air compliance, stormwater plans and permitting and NPDES discharge permits is required.
  • Experience with USCG planning is preferred but not required.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Multi-tasking several issues at one time is required.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision., bachelor’s
  • Hard skills: Knowledge in Microsoft Office is required, as well as being proficient with Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills and a professional demeanor, excellent organization, planning, time management and follow-up skills, able to work independently, and multi-task.
  • Will require ground and air travel, with overnight stays.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
