Role reports to: COORD FINANCEIRO SR Location: Latin America, Colombia, Valle del Cauca, Cali Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Sr. Finance Analyst (Costing) is responsible for presenting monthly financial reports, completing financial planning, and creating financial models. You will support complex research and analysis, manage budgeting and expense tracking, and provide timely, accurate reporting and ad hoc analyses for management: Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain and refine cost models to accurately reflect the STD costs for products or services. Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to gather insights and validate costs and assumptions. Establish and maintain the process for setting and updating standard costs ensuring that costs are aligned with the organization’s financial goals and with the plants. Analyze trends in costs and identify variances from previous periods. Conduct variance analysis to compare standard costs year over year, investigating discrepancies and providing explanations to management, highlighting areas for improvement. Support financial forecasting by updating cost projections based on current data and trends. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. What we are looking for Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field. 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, financial modeling, or related financial roles. Strong communication skills capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and logically. Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and build strong professional relationships. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Attention to detail with excellent data entry, processing accuracy, and quality control skills. Advanced/fluent English Desired Qualifications Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights that influence business strategy. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions. Demonstrated experience in engaging with management for issue resolution and informed decision-making.
