Description

This position will be a strong Finance partner for a portfolio of brands, responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and strategy building. This role will complete and present complex analysis, interpret financial data, and translate analytics and insights into actions. This role requires a strong cross functional partnership focus and will support a variety of business unit contacts as well as the finance department.

  • Lead monthly forecast updates based on business changes. Prepare and present comprehensive financial analysis for leadership/business partners, including explanation of variances to forecast, plan, and prior periods.
  • Translate financial analysis into meaningful and actionable insights across P&L accounts; quantify risks and opportunities to stated objectives.
  • Proactively identify and communicate financial issues on a timely basis.
  • Lead month-end close and ensure accuracy of journal entries through active management of marketing spend aligned with Brand strategy and budget.
  • Participate in completing and analyzing inputs for the annual budget process and longer-term strategic plan. Provide scenarios to model options and identify a range of possible outcomes
  • Partner with internal finance teams and participate in finance wide projects depending on business needs.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by mentoring junior analysts and contributing to team development.
  • Model teamwork and partnership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
