Reporting to the FP&A Manager and partnering closely with Corporate Functions FP&A Leads in San Diego, this role plays a key part in supporting the financial health of our General & Administrative and R&D functions. If you enjoy turning data into insights, building strong business partnerships, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment—this is the place for you. Where you come in: You will assist in the quarterly and annual financial forecasting and budgeting processes for Corporate Functions. You will prepare monthly reporting packages that include service level details, KPIs, business trends, and variance analyses with clear, actionable insights. You will support monthly accounting close activities and expense research by collaborating with general and cost accounting teams. You will analyze and track headcount and indirect expenses such as supplies, equipment, software, clinical trial costs, and consulting. You will assist the Finance Manager in forecasting capital assets and depreciation. You will build strong, collaborative relationships across the US Finance team and G&A stakeholders to deliver strategic value. You will ensure departments understand and comply with standard financial processes and controls. You will perform ad-hoc financial modeling, reporting, and analysis for both large-scale and smaller projects. What makes you successful: You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong skills in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data filtering. You have a solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting for P&L and balance sheets, including accruals, prepaids, and capital expenditures. You bring strong technical skills to work with large datasets from multiple systems and apply sound business judgment. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. You communicate effectively and are comfortable working with US-based colleagues at various levels. You demonstrate a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and confidence in both written and verbal communication. You can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver accurate, reliable work.
